PM Vishwakarma Free Silai Machine Yojana 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the PM Vishwakarma Free Silai Machine Yojana 2025, a flagship program aimed at empowering India’s economically disadvantaged women. The scheme aims to promote self-employment by enabling women to start home-based tailoring businesses through the provision of free sewing machines or a Rs. 15,000 direct transfer to purchase one. Priority is given to widows, disabled women, and those from BPL, SC, ST, and OBC categories.
Applicants must register on the Official portal PM Vishwakarma i.e. (pmvishwakarma.gov.in) or visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) with necessary documentation, including Aadhaar card, income certificate, and bank details.

Eligibility for PM Vishwakarma Free Silai Machine Yojana 2025
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
- Only women aged 20 to 40 are eligible.
- Family income should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum.
- Only one woman per family can benefit.
- Applicant must belong to the economically weaker section/BPL/SC/ST/OBC category.
- Widow or disabled status offers priority.
- Government employees and their immediate families are not eligible.
- Preference to rural, semi-urban, and artisan communities.

PM Vishwakarma Certificate and ID Card
The PM Vishwakarma ID Card and PM Vishwakarma Certificate will be given to the craftsmen and crafters. The ID card and the certificate must both have a unique digital number. The certificate will allow the candidate to be recognised as a Vishwakarma and qualify for all of the Scheme’s benefits. The beneficiaries will receive both a digital and physical copy of the PM Vishwakarma Certificate and ID Card.
PM Vishwakarma Silai Machine Yojana Online Registration
Step 1: Visit the official website pmvishwakarma.gov.in.

Step 2: From the Login dropdown menu, select the “Register Artisans” option under CSC Login Option available for register in PM Vishwakarma.

Step 3: Register with your mobile number and Aadhaar number.

Step 4: Select ‘No’ in “Isthere any government employee within your family?” and “Have you availed credit/ loan facility under similar schemes of central government or state government for self-employment/ business development e.g. PMEGP or have outstanding loan under PM SVANidhi or Mudra? and click on ‘Continue’ button.

Step 5: “Enter Aadhaar Linked Mobile Number” and enter Aadhaar Number of Artisans, click on “OTP” button and do OTP verification received on Aadhaar Linked Mobile Number.

Step 6: Then Perform Aadhaar authentication using biometric. For Authentication using biometric click on biometric button and do biometric authentication.

Step 7: Now fill the following details in the Form Sections:
