FMGE December 2025: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the official notification for (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) FMGE December 2025 Advt. No. FMGE/DEC/2025. Registration starts November 14, 2025, at 3 PM, on natboard.edu.in.

The eligibility criteria include possessing a recognised degree, fulfilling the final result submission deadline (on or before April 30, 2025), and acquiring the eligibility certificate from NMC (if applicable). The examination is scheduled for January 17, 2026, and the application window remains open until December 4, 2025.

FMGE December 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply:

Educational Qualification

• The applicant must possess a primary medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) awarded by a recognized university or institution outside India.
• The degree must be acknowledged in the country where it was conferred and must qualify for registration as a medical practitioner in that country.
• The final degree result must be declared on or before April 30, 2025.

Nationality & Age Limit

• Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible.
• There is no age limit to apply.

NMC Eligibility Certificate

• Candidates whose foreign medical degrees were obtained after March 15, 2002, may require an eligibility certificate from NMC/erstwhile MCI.

How to Apply Online for FMGE December 2025

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences i.e. natboard.edu.in.

Step 2: Now click on FMGE Examinations Link under Screening Test of Examination Menu Option.

Step 3: After that, FMGE Page displayed on the screen and Click on Application Link.

Step 4: Now, FMGE December 2025 Page displayed on the screen.

Step 5: After that, click on “To register” Click Here Option for Registration.

Step 6: New Registration Form page Open and Popup the Declaration form.

Step 7: Select Yes, I am an applicant and click on Submit button.

Instructions Pop on the screen, read instruction carefully and close it.

Step 8: Now fill the Candidates Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Select Nationality, Mobile number and Email Id.

Now Click on GENERATE OTP button.

Step 9: Now enter OTP and and proceed to Application.

Step 8: Enter required information and Upload required documents in the prescribed format (photograph, signature, certificates).

Step 5: Select the preferred test city.

Step 6: Pay the application fee online.

Download and print the filled application form for future use.​
