How to Calculate Marks through the SSC CHSL Answer Key?

Using the provisional answer key and response sheet, applicants may quickly estimate their Tier 1 score. First, use the official answer key to determine the total number of correct and incorrect answers.

Let C = Number of correct responses and W = Number of wrong responses. Then, as each correct answer carries 2 marks and each wrong answer deducts 0.50 marks, the formula for total score becomes:Score=(C×2)(W×0.5)Score=(C×2)−(W×0.5)

This estimated score helps you compare against previous cutoffs and gauge your chances of qualifying for Tier 2.

What’s next after the SSC CHSL Answer Key 2025 is released?

After the provisional answer key and objections process is finished, the SSC will review all challenges filed by applicants. If any objections are justified, the answers will be revised and a final answer key will be created.
